2026 EU Tax Reform: New Rules for Parcels

EU Tax Reform Key Changes for B2C Direct Parcel Shipping 副本_edited.jpg

From 1 July 2026, the EU removes the €150 tariff exemption and applies a €3 fixed charge per item based on HS Codes. New PID declaration requirements and parcel handling fees follow in November 2026.

We'd like to alert you to the 2026 EU tax reform for all B2C direct parcels under €150 shipping to the EU. Here are the key points:

New Tariff (1 July 2026):

The €150 tariff exemption is cancelled. A €3 fixed charge will apply per item based on HS Codes. No refunds will be issued for returned or rejected parcels.

Customs Rules:

Non-IOSS shipments must clear customs at the final destination and cannot be rerouted, resulting in slower clearance. Rest assured, FFOrder uses a valid IOSS number and will not be impacted.

PID Declaration:

PID is optional from 1 July, but mandatory from 1 November 2026. Incomplete or incorrect codes will lead to customs detention.

Additional Fees:

A standard EU parcel handling fee will be added starting November 2026, pushing up logistics costs.

Important Action:

Please settle all outstanding order payments by 20 June to avoid extra tariffs.

Our team is working on cost-effective logistics plans. Please use FFOrder for order fulfilment to help us prepare ahead of time. We appreciate your support!
